Diane trained as an actor at Queen Margaret University College, Edinburgh and Ecole Philippe Gaulier, London. She has worked as a deviser and performer on most of Tenterhooks’ productions and, in summer 2025, she directed Gaggle. 

Diane is a professional healthcare clown and has worked as a Clowndoctor with Hearts&Minds since 2006. She has worked on several international theatre collaborations with Contact Theatre, Manchester; including with Al Harah Theater, Palestine.
