TENTERHOOKS

"Brilliant, imaginative, inventive, responsive and thoughtful"

Tenterhooks was founded in 2013. We're based on the Cowal peninsula in Argyll.  We work across Scotland and beyond, sometimes in theatres but most of the time in public spaces.  Much of our work is inspired by wildness and adventure. Our interactive performances and wild play projects offer people creative opportunities to play together. Our core team of artists are Diane Thornton, Suzie Ferguson and Fergus Dunnet. We thrive on the risks and rewards that come with making work that is truly collaborative and which continues to evolve in performance.

IN DEVELOPMENT FOR 2019: MESS, a new piece of classroom-based theatre for children with complex additional support needs. Originally conceived by Tenterhooks Associate Artist Ben Winger. Created by Kerry Cleland, Suzie Ferguson, John Kielty, Lucy McGreal, Anna Newell, Diane Thornton, Ben Winger and the children and staff at Mavisbank School, Airdrie.
