Tenterhooks are delighted to be hosting with @puppetanimascot and @cnauldtheatre

VISUAL THEATRE LAB

👉🏻A day for theatre-makers, performers and participatory artists who work in visual theatre, or who are interested to integrate visual theatre practices into their work.

👉🏼The day will include excerpts of performances and work-in-progress, Q&As, interactive panel discussions and practical activities.

👉🏽Facilitated by some of our team here @tenterhookstheatre (@dn_thrntn @mcmahonronan @cleland.kerry Ben winger & Lucy McGreal) The lab will include sessions about our productions MESS and Are Ye Dancin’.

👉🏼 @tortoiseinanutshell will also be sharing techniques for creating scenes with puppets and objects.

👉🏼 @_craigmcculloch sharing work-in-progress for young deaf, hard of hearing and hearing audiences.

👉🏿 @p3try sharing Visual Vernacular - visual storytelling.

👉🏼 @circusgaelic sharing visual theatre practice in participatory sessions

🫵🏼The Visual Theatre Lab is open to professional creatives at all stages of their careers.
We are particularly keen to welcome artists who live and/or work in #northlanarkshire

💃 Tenterhooks are bringing Are Ye Dancin’ to the @merchantcityfestival

🕺A theatrical bubble of silliness and fun for all the family. Inspired by silent movies, variety shows, and Glasgow’s iconic dance halls.
💃A wee woman is all packed up and ready to make a new start. All she needs to do is wait (without incident) for her taxi to arrive. She fails!
